Teaching & Workshops

At my core, I am an educator, and my main concern is development of wise and effective leaders.

Having lived across geographies and having experienced different times and political systems and organisational cultures in my lifetime, I believe that development of conscious and effective leaders is key to growing our capacity to meet and live with the complex and global problems we face.

Teaching, and especially focusing on topics around leadership, learning and development, is the way I contribute to humanity finding a way through these issues.

Drawing on interdisciplinary research and my own broad professional and personal experiences, I connect with diverse audiences across cultures, organizations, and sectors. Participants describe my teaching as engaging and insightful; they experience me as challenging yet empathetic, passionate yet thoughtful, wise yet playful.

My work has been recognized with multiple awards, including twice receiving the Best Elective Teacher Award from INSEAD MBAs and the Commendation for Teaching Excellence from the Dean of Executive Education at INSEAD.

Some core areas I teach:

Leadership & Learning

What does it mean to be a leader, how does one gain or lose authority, and why would anyone follow you? Learning and leadership go hand to hand, not just on individual level but as groups and systems - so how to cultivate resilience to allow us to learn and adapt in increasingly complex and stressful environments?

Transformation & Transitions

How to transform - oneself, one’s organisation, one’s world - in a way that’s thoughtful and effective, whilst recognising the complexity, uncertainty, unpredictability of the post-modern workplace characterised by shifting global challenges.

Diversity, Creativity & Uncertainty

How to work and lead in diverse and complex organisations full of conflicting norms and values? How to create opportunities for oneself and others amidst uncertainty whilst remaining authentic and intentional? How to play in order to find more adaptable ways of working amidst technological entanglement and increasingly boundary-less organisational structures?

“Wojtek was passionate and so very knowledgeable. He took us through some uncomfortable moments for ourselves and he was thoughtful and kind in his approach. He also has a sense of humour, which makes this challenging programme a little easier to work through”
